Jost Van Dyke Snorkeling Excursions and Boat Tours

Jost Van Dyke is a major island in the British Virgin Islands with a population of 300. The 3 square mile island has a rich history being home to Arawak Indians, Caribs, Dutch, Africans, and the British over the years.

A few notable natives of Jost Van Dyke are William Thornton, the architect of the U.S. Capital Building, and John Coakley Lettsom, founder of the London Medical Society.

Today, Jost Van Dyke receives numerous visitors to see the beautiful beaches and celebrate Old Year’s Day at Foxy’s Bar. Let us take you on a boat tour and show you our favorite parts of the island!

Sandy Cay

This 14-acre deserted island is a great place to stop and snorkel.

There is a beautiful beach and reef around the island, as well as a short path called the Sandy Cay Trail that you can take to the east end of the island where you will find fantastic views of Tortola and the surrounding islands.

Sandy Spit

This tiny one-acre island is exactly what comes to mind when you picture the Caribbean experience. Its powder white sandy beach and the single palm tree in the middle of the island make it absolutely picturesque.

This is a must see stop when on a boat tour in the BVI.

White Bay

White Bay Beach is a beautiful stretch of soft sand along crystal-clear waters. Many visitors come by boat and swim to shore to lay out on a towel or sit in a chair and soak in sun.

When the beach begins to fill up with people for the day, many visitors say the beach takes on a party like atmosphere with the help of the Soggy Dollar Bar and their world-famous Painkiller drinks. You can even see the beautiful beachfront view from the bar by visiting their website:
